COOL LOCATION

The Monument

Five years after the Great Fire of London, in 1671, the Monument was built to commemorate the terrible event that transformed the city.

The Monument stands 62m tall in a small square 62m west of the spot where the fire started.

The Monument was built with a second purpose: to also be the site for scientific experiments. Hidden beneath The Monument is a tiny laboratory from where the column was once used as a giant zenith telescope.

A spiral staircase takes you to a viewing platform at 49m above ground level, from where you can enjoy magnificent 360-degree views over the river and across the city.

My personal choice for banking the app based bank has delevoped over the last few years, adding plenty of useful products and in app options such as savings pots that help you squirrel a little cash away for a rainy day..

Easy to use and secure I can highly recommend Monzo and its optional business account.

Monzo are about to release an investment option on the app making it possible to invest without hassle and with as little as £1.

Automotive

Berserker Bike by Paul Cox

The Beserker Bike by Paul Cox is one of my all time favourites. Taking 7 years to complete, this Panhead is covered with hand carved leather armour, on the rear fender, seat and gas tank symbolize Strength, Protection, Journey and the Viking Warrior Code.

The leather carving alone took upwards of 200 hours to complete . The leather was then painstakingly hand fitted to the modified tank and hand made rear fender.

With its rigid frame, girder front end and jockey shift its not a ride for the faint hearted. But this is a work of art I would love to have the opportunity to ride.
